New work is at the heart of our mission—and each year, The York proudly presents 15+ Developmental Readings.

Submissions

The series is curated by our Producing Artistic Director and Director of New Works. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis.

To submit your musical, please email:

Include a complete script and demos (via Dropbox or similar file-sharing service).

Due to volume, you may not always receive a response. If we determine your show is a good fit for our series, a member of The York staff will be in touch.

Readings are by invitation only. Seating is first-come, first-served.

  • Invitations are emailed two weeks before each reading

  • Late seating is not guaranteed—please arrive early

  • Check in using the name on your reservation
