Jeff Bienstock

Jeff Bienstock (Book, Lyrics) grew up in Santa Monica, California but later moved to New York City for the balmy climate. He first began writing musicals in grad school under the mentorship of NYU Professor Joseph Church, whom he is now pleased to call a collaborator and friend. Jeff previously wrote the book and lyrics for Legendale, a video game musical co-written with composer Andrea Daly. This show received two premieres in 2017: an American production at the Human Race Theatre in Dayton Ohio, and a Scandinavian production at the Fredericia Teater (in Danish!) Jeff is a proud alumni of the NAMT Festival of New Musicals and the ASCAP Musical Theater Workshop with Stephen Schwartz. He lives in Brooklyn and would be hard-pressed to leave.
