Joseph Church
Joseph Church (Music and Lyrics) is perhaps best known for his music direction and arrangements for two groundbreaking Broadway musicals, The Lion King and The Who’s Tommy. Other music direction/conducting credits include In The Heights, Little Shop of Horrors (original company and national tour), Amazing Grace, Sister Act, Randy Newman’s Faust, and Radio City’s Christmas Spectacular. Joseph is an award-winning composer/arranger in styles from popular song to musicals to serious music. He received the American Prize in Music for his oratorio “The Tortoise and the Two Ducks,” written with legendary librettist Sheldon Harnick.
